The System Administrator is responsible for creating and managing all user accounts in BMP360. Each user is assigned a role that controls what modules and actions they can access.
Creating a New User Account
- Navigate to the Administration section in the left sidebar.
- Select User Management.
- Click Create New User.
- Fill in the user's full name, email address, and assign a temporary password.
- Select the user's Role from the dropdown menu.
- Configure any additional Permission toggles as required.
- Click Save to create the account.
Always assign the minimum necessary permissions to each user — this follows the principle of least privilege and reduces security risk.
Deactivating a User Account
- Navigate to User Management.
- Find the user account you wish to deactivate.
- Click the Deactivate toggle or button next to their account.
- Confirm the action when prompted.
Deactivated users are immediately logged out and cannot log back in until reactivated. All their data and history are fully preserved.
To reactivate a user, navigate back to their account record and click Activate.
Understanding Roles and Permissions
BMP360 uses a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system. Every page, action, and module is protected by permission checks. There are two levels of control:
- Role-level access — the set of modules and pages visible to a user based on their role.
- Action-level permissions — specific operations within a module (such as export, delete, or approve) that can be individually toggled per user.
Review and audit user permissions periodically to ensure access levels remain appropriate as people change roles.
Module Visibility
If a module is not visible in a user's sidebar, it is either due to their role not including permission for that module, or the module being deactivated system-wide. Contact your system administrator to resolve module visibility issues.
