The BMP360 financial engine provides a unified view of all company accounts and maintains an immutable audit trail of every transaction across every currency.
Creating a Financial Account
- Navigate to Financial Accounts in the left sidebar.
- Click Add New Account.
- Select the account type (Cash, Bank, or Credit).
- Enter the account name, currency, and opening balance.
- Click Save.
You can manage multiple accounts in different currencies. BMP360 uses USD as the pivot currency for cross-currency reconciliation and reporting.
Transferring Funds Between Accounts
- Navigate to Financial Accounts.
- Click Transfer Funds.
- Select the Source Account and Destination Account.
- Enter the transfer amount.
- If the accounts use different currencies, confirm the exchange rate.
- Click Confirm Transfer.
All fund transfers are permanently recorded in the audit trail and reflected immediately in both account balances.
Viewing Account Ledgers
Every payment source in BMP360 maintains a complete transaction ledger. To view it:
- Navigate to Financial Accounts.
- Click on any account to open its profile.
- The transaction ledger shows all debits, credits, and the running balance.
- Use the date filter to narrow the view to a specific period.
Financial Reporting
BMP360 provides real-time financial summaries including Profit & Loss. Key reporting rules:
- Revenue is based on paid invoices only. Proformas and unpaid invoices are excluded from P&L.
- All transactions have a USD-equivalent value captured at the time of the transaction for accurate multi-currency reporting.
- Reports can be filtered by date range, currency, and account.
