BMP360 uses a Batch-First inventory model. Every unit of stock belongs to a specific, traceable batch. This model ensures complete accuracy and a full audit trail for every stock movement.
Viewing Inventory Levels
- Navigate to Inventory in the left sidebar.
- The dashboard displays real-time KPI cards: total stock value, batch count, FIFO health, and critical stock alerts.
- Click on any product to view its full batch history and current stock position.
- Use the Movement Log to see a complete audit trail of all stock inflows and outflows.
The Batch Model Explained
A batch is created automatically when goods are received against a Purchase Order. Each batch records:
- The product and quantity received
- The cost per unit at the time of receipt
- The receipt date and the linked Purchase Order
You cannot manually enter stock without a corresponding Purchase Order receipt. This ensures financial accuracy and prevents untracked stock entries.
Inventory Reports
The Inventory module provides several reporting tools:
| Report | Description |
|---|---|
| Stock Levels | Current quantity on hand per product |
| Batch Drill-Down | Per-batch breakdown with receipt history and cost |
| Movement Log | Complete inbound and outbound history, filterable by date and product |
| FIFO Health | Batch consumption order and anomaly indicators |
| Critical Stock | Products at or below minimum stock threshold |
